Microcelebrities are people who are not universally famous - but they are known within their city, or within their niche (e.g. housing for homelessness). They tend to be superconnectors. The moral: Don’t focus only on the major celebrities.

LinkedIn: Connect only to people you know well enough that you would introduce them to others in your network.

Don’t get addicted to social media. Read it only when you can’t do much else (e.g. in airports, etc). Ensure your time spent on it is purposeful and not mindless.
